Market View

World markets are generally mixed with USA red, Europe green, Japan strong green, Hong Kong green, China red and Asia green. Yield curve is slightly steeper which is a negative for tech. US dollar is slightly lower, which is positive for foreign equities. Cryptos are up as the bounce continues. USA indices are all negative with DJIA leading and Russell 2000 lagging.  Clean energy stocks are up after the USA pledged to cut carbon dioxide levels by 50% by 2030.  Airlines are strong premarket after earnings reports that the large losses were smaller than expected. Markets are very muted premarket with lower than average volume.  After a strong day, consolidation is common but there is a potential for continuation, especially with the USA initial claims less than expected. As usual suggest watching the FAANGMT and yields for directional signals

Qualtrics is a recent IPO that is a spinoff from SAP. XM provides management software for organizations. XM beat earnings and revenue. Analysts see this as having good long term prospects.  It is currently trading below the IPO price of 40.7 which would be a target.
