Market View

World markets are generally soft with USA mixed, Europe green, Japan red, Hong Kong red, China red and Asia red. Yield curve is steeper with long yields up which is positive for financials and negative for tech. US dollar higher is usually negative for commodities and equities, which are mixed today. News: US judge dismissed a FTC case against FB but allowed them to refile; banks announced buyback and dividend raises but only MS and GS had major programs,  C did not announce a program; Covid delta strain is a growing concern in Europe and Asia; BA and airbus have a large deal with UAL . USA markets are mixed with DJIA and IWM slightly positive and Nasdaq slightly negative.  USA markets were very divergent Monday with FANG strong and other sectors weak and today in the premarket there is a slight reversal. SPY and QQQ are short term extended so may digest today and allow the IWM and DIA to catch up. Meme stocks are still in play today but activity is lower than Monday.
