•Yield curve unchanged but long yields falling in the premarket which is positive for tech and negative for financials

•US dollar slightly higher which is negative

•News: German PPI 2x expected; UK CPI below expectation;

•Stocks: NFLX more subscribers but no revenue surprise; NVAX mfg issues stock killed; Brinker earnings: lack of workers & high input costs hitting all restaurant stocks e.g. DRI; ASML cut revenue guidance due to supply chain – major semi equipment supplier; ABT earnings beat as Covid test rebounds; CNI earnings beat CEO retiring;

•Indices: USA large cap indices are flat with Russell2k lagging. SPX 4500 remains a major resistance level and 4450 support

•Sectors: Leading: China Internet, Silver and gold, airlines, healthcare Lagging: Energy Semiconductors Small caps
