•Global markets are positive with USA green, Europe green, Japan green, Hong Kong green, China red, Asia mixed

•Yield curve slightly flatter – Long yields are a must watch today as drop Monday led to the market recovery

•US dollar slightly lower c.f. Euro

•News: FED: Powell confirmation hearing with Senate Banking Cmtte; China: Locked down Anyang pop 5M after 2 Omicron cases; Strategists at GS, JPM say to buy stocks;

•Stocks: JNPR upgrade; RIVN missed  2021 target and COO stepped down; LVS JPM upgrade; IBM UBS downgrade to sell; VIR govt deal to sell 600k monoclonal antibody treatment; NUE downgrade; ACI earnings; SHAK guidance raise sales jumped 20% in holiday quarter

•Indices: Global set-up is positive for markets. USA indices moved higher overnight and are pulling back in the premarket coincident with yields rising. SPX 4650 is the high gamma level and look for it to act as support or potentially sharper selling below. Watch Vix and yields today as lower Vix and lower yields will lift markets and converse is true

•Sectors: Leading: China internet, energy, gold miners Lagging: yen, spec tech, bitcoin

INTC crossed the 200sma Monday and premarket is getting a boost on news the CFO from MU is joining.  Large move to 58.4 on the close Monday but pulling back premarket. Longs can use shorter term timeframe for a swing buy. 54.80 key level to hold
